Thes Terms, Conditions and Privacy policies that govern the commitment by Izwi Lakho (Pty) Ltd, (Izwi-Lakho)The policy should be read in conjunction with other policies geared towards all stakeholders as well as the stakeholder relations with the company.The company may elect to updated the Terms, Conditions and Privacy policy or add new / additional clauses, at any time at our sole discretion. If so, the amendments will be published as updated version, on the website. The Izwi Lakho Program is operated by Izwi Lakho (Pty) Ltd). Its operations are governed by the applicable laws within the Republic of South Africa. The services rendered are limited to assets held within the Republic of South Africa. The sole role played by Izwi Lakho is to guide its clients through the process of putting together a Will and Testament (a Will) as well as safe keep until requested by rightful recipients as prescribed by the applicable laws within the Republic of South Africa. Where the Will document faces challenge by other stakeholders including beneficiaries, where the court of law or any other authorised body rejects the Will as not valid or unacceptable, Izwi Lakho will not be liable. By signing up and participating in any of the Izwi Lakho program, one agrees to the Terms and Conditions and other policies. Please note that Izwi Lakho may elect to refuse an application to use its services and Programme for one reason or the other, at our sole discretion including (but not limited to) risk of reputational damage to, any reasonable suspicion of previous criminal activity including shoplifting or any previous history of verbal or physical, racial, gender-based abuse to its partners, staff and customers. This restriction can be broadened at any time, at the sole discretion of the company, whilst mindful of and being sensitive to the laws of the republic at any point in time. Note: There are some word(s) that may be used interchangeably to mean the Izwi Lakho Program. There are some clauses that may be found under specific programs and in not all. It is therefore important to familiarise self with policies and visit them from time to time for any updates.

How do I access the Izwi Lakho Services?
Izwi Lakho Services are accessible at any time in line with the company’s operation schedule, which will be reflected on its various platforms including the website.
There are various ways the service can be accessed
a. Self Service
1. A potential customer (once active, becomes a client - Testator) may elect to register with Izwi Lako, obtain the necessary documents, obtain and completed the necessary documents then return them for a safe keep.
b. In Branch Consult
1. The Izwi Lakho Services may be accessed by visiting the nearest branch as they get rolled out over time. Even though walk-ins are allowed, it is always recommended that one secures an appointment to secure a time slot. 2. In Branch consultations may come at an additional cost. 3. Each consultation will be limited to up to One Hour. The clients are encouraged to have notes in place so as to make the process a lot easier and more fruitful
c. House Call Consult
1. This service is not encouraged but may be arranged on request. This service will attract additional costs which may include among others travel and accommodation costs.PLEASE NOTE: Through out the service, the Izwi Lakho team can not give any advice on how to structure one’s Will nor apportion the benefits. The agents may only clarify what each category of the Will document requires. Should any of the team members contravene this rule, they may be held personally liable, should sufficient proof be presented and levelled against them.
B. Cost of Izwi Lakho Service:
Izwi Lakho Services are accessible at any time in line with the company’s operation schedule, which will be reflected on its various platforms including the website. The customer further more pays for the safe keep of their Will, which Izwi Lakho handles through its service providers until requested by the rightful recipients The cost is reflected on the website for various categories, depending on what the client needs. Should there be price revision, an update will be shared on the website with at least a Month’s notice.
The testator is liable for the cost of service for as long as the Will is still in the safekeep of Izwi Lakho. TShould the Testator not cancel the service and call back their Will, they remail liable pay their due, mainly because it will be held by a service provider whose service is paid for. Izwi Lakho may reach out to Testators whose fees have not been paid, as a courtesy reminder. Should the Testator not be reached on all means of communication provided, Izwi Lakho may contact the nominated recipients to establish the where about of the Testator. Should the Testator not honour their dues, the recipients of the Documents will have to pay the outstanding fees, which they may claim against his estate. The liability of the Testator automatically terminates on the year of their demise. Irrespective of when the Will was uncovered.
The Executorship service can be rendered by anyone selected by the Testator. This service is not rendered by Izwi Lakho. Service providers listed under this category have paid to promote their service. They are not select following any specific criteria Izwi Lakho allows service providers to market their services and may be founder under the page “Executorship”. The company does not have any say in how they may render the service or even charge. The Testator (or beneficiaries) are encouraged to conduct a thorough check on anyone prior to entrusting them with the Executorship role. This includes among other if they meet all the requirements to render the service, the prior experience as well as request for references. The service providers listed as Executors may be accessed and used by anyone including non-Izwi Lakho clients. The information is open to public access.
The Testators allows Izwi Lakho to keep constant contact with, so as to educate them of the developments, if any, within the industry as well as share light on various case studies from which they may derive some benefit In the event of not being reached on the contact information provided, especially when fees have not been paid, Izwi Lakho is permitted to contact the nominated recipients of the Will, who would have been listed by the Testator as such may communicate with the meet all the requirements to render the service, the prior experience as well as request for references
